Slip On System

Akrapovic is proud to offer the finest in European craftsmanship and technology for a legend of the American highways. We offer two configurations of systems for the Mustang GT in both stainless steel and in our proprietary titanium* alloy. The Slip-On (axle back) system comes with meticulously engineered dual mufflers and computer-controlled precision bent connection pipes. No modifications to the chassis are necessary. Additionally, you can choose between our 125 mm titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes to complete the package.

Performance
For a Mustang, sound is a key component of the driving experience. While the stock GT sounds good, adding the Akrapovic Slip-On system introduces a much deeper and more aggressive tone.

Now for the details; The Slip-On system produces 9 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque more than stock while reducing overall weight by 5 kg (titanium version).

The Evolution system uses the same mufflers as the Slip-On system but also replaces the entire stock exhaust from the manifolds back using the factory mounting points. No modifications to the chassis are necessary. It also incorporates a high flow X-pipe design in place of the stock H-pipe arrangement.  Additionally, you can choose between our 125 mm titanium or carbon fiber tail pipes to complete the package.

Performance

Moving up to the Evolution system adds an even sportier and sharper sound than the Slip-On system alone, bringing out the true character of a classic American muscle car.

Now for the details; The Slip-On system produces 9 horsepower and 36 Nm of torque more than stock while reducing overall weight by 5 kg (titanium version).  The complete Evolution system is even more impressive. On an otherwise stock vehicle the Evolution exhaust gains over 14 horsepower and an amazing 48 Nm of torque. A weight reduction of 21 kg (titanium) is also achieved, making the Akrapovic Evolution system the lightest on the market for the timeless Mustang GT.
