The Renault Clio Renault Sport is known as a real hot hatch among small cars. With its 200-horsepower engine, sport chassis, and braking power, it guarantees total enjoyment of dynamic driving that’s a real rarity among compact sports cars in the Clio’s class.
Akrapovic offers two versions of aftermarket exhaust system for the RS, both crafted from the finest stainless steel. Performance
The Evolution system offers greater gains because with it the Clio III RS 200 is a full 7 kg lighter than stock and gains 8 horsepower and 13 Nm of torque. With the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system the Clio RS accelerates more smoothly, and has power gains in a broad power range. These are most noticeable between 2,000 and 6,000 rpm.
The engine, which is already primed for high-rev action, spins even more effectively, which in practical terms means that it’s noticeably more responsive. The power increase is also accompanied by a significantly sportier sound that will give you the feeling that you’re in the middle of a Clio Cup race. The beat when letting off of the gas is especially thrilling. In addition to the power gains resulting from weight reduction and a better power-to-weight ratio, leading to increased horsepower, a Clio RS with an Akrapovic exhaust system is recognizable even from afar thanks to its precision-crafted carbon-fiber tail pipes.
